The Golf R's 292hp is put to the road via  VW's “4Motion” All-Wheel drive system that can send as much as 50 percent of the engine’s torque to the rear axle. With the optional DCC  four way adjustable suspension in “Race” mode understeer is eliminated creating a more direct, pointed and precise handling car than the standard Golf R.
